Dear Dillon Bergin:
A search for records potentially responsive to your Freedom of Information Law request with the above-referenced control number resulted in over 76 GBs of data. According to industry standards, 1 GB could contain anywhere from 15,000 to 677,000 files. Could you please amend your search to return a reasonable number of records?
Many thanks,
Bernadette O'Donnell
Records Access Officer
From: Dillon Bergin
Hi Bernadette,
Thank you for your help.
In that case, I'd like to modify my original request to "All email correspondence sent to, from or copied to any New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene employee, pelardo@dep.nyc.gov and/or JoHoffman@dep.nyc.gov from January 1, 2020 to the date this request is ultimately fulfilled including the following non-case-sensitive-key-strings: “monkeypox” AND “wastewater”."
Please let me know if that helps narrow it down.
My best,
Dillon

Hi Dillon,
I apologize for the delay. I am writing to let you know that it appears that your amended request has returned a reasonable number of hits. Reupping the language from your amended request here:
“I'd like to modify my original request to "All email correspondence sent to, from or copied to any New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene employee, pelardo@dep.nyc.gov<mailto:pelardo@dep.nyc.gov> and/or JoHoffman@dep.nyc.gov<mailto:JoHoffman@dep.nyc.gov> from January 1, 2020 to the date this request is ultimately fulfilled including the following non-case-sensitive-key-strings: “monkeypox” AND “wastewater”."
Based on a backlog of requests that the agency is working through and the nature of your request, additional time is needed to respond to your request.
