Pursuant to the New York State Freedom of Information Law (1977 N.Y. Laws ch. 933), I hereby request the following records:

All records, communications, complaints, data, or other documents generated or received from 2014 to present regarding the lighting study announced in March 2016 and conducted during the spring and summer months of 2016 (see announcement here: http://www1.nyc.gov/office-of-the-mayor/news/242-16/mayor-de-blasio-pioneering-study-how-outdoor-lighting-reduces-crime). This includes intradepartmental communications, communications with other city agencies, and external communications with Crime Lab New York or any other non-city affiliated person(s) or entities.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
