I am appealing the integrity of FOIL-2019-056-01319 and the search for files on Marsha P. Johnson in its entirety. The NYPD investigated Johnson's death before claiming it to be a suicide, and the case was reopened for investigation in the 2000s. (Source: https://www.forensicmag.com/article/2017/09/undetermined-death-marsha-p-johnson)

First of all, thank you so much for providing these documents -- this was very helpful.
One of the documents provided by the NYPD states that Marsha P. Johnson/Malcolm Michaels was previously known to the department under NYSID#1066395H, thus indicating that there could be more documents. Could you please search for these documents? I've attached a screenshot of where it says that in the NYPD files.

I am appealing this, as I believe that there are files that are responsive to this request that were not included. While the files provided were helpful, it is mentioned within them that another responsive file exists that would fall under the parameters of my request.
