Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:
Records concerning the seizure of approximately 1,997 kilgorams of cocaine from a warehouse located at a Maspeth warehouse (address: 51-18 Grand Avenue, Maspeth, New York) that was executed on (or about) January 28, 2003. For further details that may assist in the location of records, please find contemporary news articles attached. The owner of the warehouse was "5118 Grand Corp." while the premises were rented by the organization "Four Queens Soybean Oil."
This request is inclusive of all material concerning the search and seizure, and should include all records from before, during and after the raid. It may include written records (such as warrant affidavits and investigators' notes on surveillance), but images and video (such as that which is used to document a crime scene) should be considered responsive as well. As well, I request inventories of material seized and records of disposition.
I assert that this request is for investigative material that has already been revealed by the SNP, DEA, and local law enforcement in the news articles attached. It was also cited as part of the evidence in the federal case against Joaquín Archivaldo Guzmán Loera in the Eastern District, and there is no compelling reason to assert privileges concerning any ongoing investigation. If there is a mixture of exempt and non-exempt material, I request the reasonably segregable non-exempt material.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

I have a FOIL request (assigned number 594/2003) that I've been told is available once payment is made. In order to get payment made, I would like to know how the FOIL will be produced to me –e.g., over a portal, over email, or some other solution. I have asked Ms. Pichardo at her email twice, and have not received an answer.
As soon as I receive an answer, I can request a check to pay for the document production.
