Pursuant to the New York State Freedom of Information Law (1977 N.Y. Laws ch. 933), I hereby request the following records:

The text of the 2017 legal ruling, resolving a 2009 lawsuit, that resulted in members of the Council of School Supervisors and Administrators receiving parking permits from the NYC Department of Education, as referenced in the below linked memo from the NYC mayor’s office and the NYC Department of Education chancellor:

In addition, I request copies of any and all correspondence, including without limitation all email correspondence sent to or from any email address within the nyc.gov email domain, referencing or pertaining to the issuance of city parking permits to members of the Council of School Supervisors and Administrators, the United Federation of Teachers, and District Council 37 in 2017, as referenced in the above linked memo.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
