The New York City Police Department (NYPD) has denied your FOIL request FOIL-2020-056-13967 for the following reasons: (https://a860-openrecords.nyc.gov/request/view/FOIL-2020-056-13967)
The Freedom of Information Law allows access to existing documents and does not necessitate the creation of a document. Hello Mr. Reda,
Could you please help us direct this FOIL request appropriately? The Mayor's Office previously said it had forwarded this request to you, but we haven't been able locate good contact information by which to follow up, and the main NYC portal seems to lack a direct submission to your office. Your website mentions FOIL on this page (https://portal.311.nyc.gov/article/?kanumber=KA-01021), but it doesn't provide any useful contact information.
Thank you for your time and help.
