To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the New York State Freedom of Information Law (1977 N.Y. Laws ch. 933), I hereby request the following records:

In a press release dated June 29, 2017 the mayor's office announced a tax credit agreement for Aetna to relocate to New York City. (http://www1.nyc.gov/office-of-the-mayor/news/444-17/mayor-de-blasio-aetna-locate-corporate-headquarters-250-good-paying-jobs-new-york) That press release states that the relocation will yield "an estimated $146 million in economic benefit to the City." I am requesting all records detailing that estimation - in line item form if it exists - as well as all records involved in determining that estimation and all records of deliberation regarding that estimation (including but not limited to emails, meeting notes, reports, presentations)

I am a member of the news media, a staff reporter at Newsweek Media Group's International Business Times. The requested documents will be made available to the general public in the course of reporting, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Jay Cassano
