Douglas Rushkoff correspondence (CUNY)

Pursuant to the New York State Freedom of Information Law (1977 N.Y. Laws ch. 933), I hereby request the following records:

All correspondence, written or electronic, dated between January 1, 2013 and the date when this request is processed, exchanged between Douglas Rushkoff and all administrators and/or faculty at Queens College of the City University of New York.

Records requested include correspondence, dated between January 1, 2013 and the date when this request is processed, among Queens College administrators and faculty pertaining to Rushkoff's hiring.

Records requested include all emails, dated between January 1, 2013 and the date when this request is processed, exchanged between Douglas Rushkoff and representatives of CUNY.

I specifically seek documents regarding Rushkoff's recent hiring by Queens College. (As is published online here: http://www.qc.cuny.edu/communications/news_services/releases/Pages/welcome.aspx?ItemID=1736)

Records requested include any documents, such as an official offer letter or contract, indicating Rushkoff’s annual salary and/or benefits, as well as any conditions of employment.

In order to have this request fulfilled in a timely matter, I am willing to limit my request to clearly releasable portions of the requested documents. I reserve the right, however, to submit a new request if I am not satisfied with your response.

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
