Any and all contracts or agreements, including appendices, schedules, and attachments, between New York City or any of its agencies and the following private companies, in connection with the city's 2018 dockless bike share pilot:
- Lime (a/k/a LimeBike)
- JUMP Bikes (and/or Uber Technologies, Inc.)
- Pace
- Motivate
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

On August 17, 2018, you submitted a Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) request for the following:

Your request is denied. After a diligent search of agency records, staff did not locate any contracts involving the companies named in your FOIL request. More specifically, staff did not locate any contracts involving a vendor that uses any of the following names: Lime, Lime Bikes, Jump, Jump Bikes, Uber, Uber Technologies, Inc., Pace, or Motivate.
Pursuant to NYS Public Officers Law ยง 89(4), you have the right to appeal this determination. Appeals must be submitted in writing within 30 days of this notification and can be directed to:
