Pursuant to the New York State Freedom of Information Law (1977 N.Y. Laws ch. 933), I hereby request the following records:

-- All correspondence, written or electronic, between representatives of Mayor Bill de Blasio, or his family, or other members of the Office of the Mayor, and representatives of Columbia University, especially including, but not limited to, the Office of Undergraduate admission regarding the de Blasio family's visit to the university on April 29, 2014.

I seek records created between January 1, 2014 and the date when this request is processed.

In order to have this request fulfilled in a timely matter, I am willing to limit my request to clearly releasable portions of the requested documents. I reserve the right, however, to submit a new request if I am not satisfied with your response.

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
