Dear Mr. Riccio:
Based on a backlog of Freedom of Information Law requests this agency is working through, the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene needs additional time to respond to your request with the above-referenced control number. I anticipate that you will receive a response to this request by November 30, 2022.
I apologize for the delay.
Sincerely,
Bernadette O'Donnell

Mr. Riccio:
I have conducted a search for potentially responsive records based on the key terms and timeframe you provided and the domains @health.nyc.gov, @cityhall.nyc.gov, and @council.nyc.gov. The search resulted in over 22,000 items and close to 10 GB of data, which could result in 1 million pages of records. Could you please narrow this search?
Thanks,
Bernadette
From: ALEXANDER RICCIO
If you narrow it to after April 1, 2022, and before August 1, 2022, does that sufficiently narrow the request?
From: Department of Health and Mental Hygiene
Hi Mr. Riccio:
Thank you for your email. I have amended the search for the timeframe you indicated and it still results in 16,000 items and nearly 6 GB worth of data, which could result in up to 600,000 emails. The search terms you have provided are very broad. Please let me know if you would be willing further narrow your search.
Are you only looking for emails that Don Weiss sent rather than received?
Thanks,
Bernadette O'Donnell
