Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:

A spreadsheet of every arraignment this office prosecuted in 2019, 2020 or 2021 (to date), with the following information:

- name of the ADA
- arraignment date
- case ID (used by the court system)
- name of the judge
- cash bail requested
- cash bail set
- top severity at arraignment (felony or misdemeanor)

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

Dear Mr. Litsky,

Thank you for this letter - I very much appreciate the information about PCMS.

You indicated you could provide "the name of the prosecutor assigned; the court docket, superior court information, or indictment number; whether the top charge is a felony or misdemeanor; and the arraignment date."

Would this include the Internal Case ID used by the state court system to track cases? Or is there any other unique signifier assigned to each arraignment that could allow me to remove duplicates and potentially cross-reference this data with data provided by the state court system?

Also, I was surprised that the bail information would not be included. Does the Richmond County DA not keep any records related to bail-setting requests?
