From: Joseph Uchill
To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:
Documentation detailing the cost of elections by polling location or polling center, dated between 2019 and the present.
Ultimately, my goal is to understand how much money is saved or spent altering the number of polling locations. If there is a better way to request this information, I'm all ears.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
Sincerely,
Joseph Uchill

Dear Mr. Uchill:
The New York State Board of Elections has received your request for access to potentially public records, more specifically, "Documentation detailing the cost of elections by polling location or polling center, dated between 2019 and the present."
We have conducted a diligent search of our records and found none that would be responsive to your request. To the extent these records exist, they would be maintained at the individual county boards of elections.
If you have additional questions, please let us know.
Sincerely yours,
John W. Conklin
