Pursuant to the New York State Freedom of Information Law (1977 N.Y. Laws ch. 933), I hereby request the following records:
All submissions to the Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority regarding the potential implementation of a Facial Detection and Recognition System for New York City bridges and tunnels, as requested by Deputy Chief Procurement Officer Lynn Gore on December 12, 2016 (Subject: Request for Information (RFI), RFI-16-63, All-Electronic Facial Detection and Recognition System at all TBTA Facilities).
I request all submissions, which may include but not limited to, a vendor's standard literature, catalog information, sample specifications, qualifications of the firm and previously completed projects, from dates ranging from December 12, 2016 until January 3, 2017.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

FOIL Reference No. 1160
From: Kevin Collier
Hi, Theresa. You March 27 response to me was denied because my request was in reference to submissions to TBTA regarding a Facial Detection and Recognition System, which as of March 27 was the subject of a procurement that is currently under review and consideration for award.
Is there a means to guarantee I'll be notified when that procurement is no longer under review? If not, it seems my best course of action is to repeatedly file FOIA requests until the time comes when it is no longer under review.

Please be advised that you may continue submitting requests or you can check the agency's publicly available procurement announcements for information concerning the subject procurement when it's available.
Thank you.

Hi. www.mta.info doesn't have a "search for procurements" link. It has a "MTA Procurement Opportunities" page, which then has a number of options. Could you just link me to the particular procurement link in question, if it's still live? Thanks.
From: Legall, Theressa
Please be advised that we are unable to comply with your request for a link to a specific procurement.

You tell me it's on the MTA.info website, I'm looking all over, and I don't see it. The reason I ask for this is so that I don't have to waste my time or yours with frequent, repeated, identical FOIL requests. If I have to file those requests repeatedly, so be it, but if this information is somewhere counterintuitive on the mta.info website, I think it'd make life easier for both of us if you can just tell me where.
