Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:
1) Any documents describing the variables incorporated into ACS' Safe Measures predictive models, such as a predictive model report or variable library.
2) Any differential impact analysis or validation studies, since Jan. 1, 2017, of the Safe Measures predictive models.
3) All guidelines established by ACS' Predictive Analytics Approval Committee.
4) All meeting minutes, since Jan. 1, 2017, of the Predictive Analytics Approval Committee.
I ask that all fees be waived as I am a journalist and I intend to use the requested records to publish articles in the public interest and not for any commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter.
I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
