I would like all e-mails containing the words "climate change," "hurricanes," "extreme flooding," spanning from July 2021 to July 2022, sent from or received by an e-mail account associated with the Metropolitan Transit Authority. The email address contains "@mta.info."

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

With respect to your FOIL request for "e-mails containing the words "climate change," "hurricanes," "extreme flooding," spanning from July 2021 to July 2022, sent from or received by an e-mail account... email address contains "@mta.info."" please be advised that it fails to meet the requirement that the request be reasonably described pursuant to N.Y. POL s 89(3)(a). Whether a request is reasonably described may be dependent upon the nature of an agency’s filing or record keeping system and agency employees are not required to engage in herculean or unreasonable efforts to locate records. If you want a search to be conducted for communications, you will need to provide the following search parameters: (i) names of email accounts to be searched. If we do not hear back from you within five (5) business days, this request will be closed.
