Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:
Any written order, memorandum, advisory, statement of policy, or similar document produced by or for the Department addressing the subject of the possibility of extradition of abortion providers from New York.
This request is for materials at, or around, the passage of Chapter 219 of 2022, ("AN ACT to amend the criminal procedure law, the executive law and the civil practice law and rules, in relation to protection of abortion service providers.")
The time period for such a document would be no earlier than May 3, 2022.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
