Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:
Dear NY Courts,
This is a FOIL request for records. Please provide the following
1. The Eighth judicial district ADR - Court Mediator Roster For Family Court Custody Matters for the following years: 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021,2022
Pursuant to NYS FOIL §89 3.(a) you have five business days to acknowledge my request.
Pursuant to NYS FOIL §89 3.(a) I am requesting the NY Court certify to the correctness of such copies and shall certify that it does not have possession of such record or that such record cannot be found after diligent search.
Pursuant to NYS FOIL §89 8. Any person who, with intent to prevent the public inspection of a record pursuant to this article, willfully conceals or destroys any such record shall be guilty of a violation.
Please attach the records via email and redact in the color black.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

3.) Are there no rosters for 2012, 2013, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2021 ?
It has long been established that FOIL does not require responses to specific questions, but instead governs release of government records. See Public Officers Law § 89(3)(a) (indicating that an agency is not required to create a record in response to a request). “There is nothing in the Freedom of Information Law or the Open Meetings Law that requires that government officers or employees respond to questions, supply information in response to questions or offer explanations for their governmental activities.”
Please note, the original response stated “For your request for 2012, 2013, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019; please note the Office of Court Administration has conducted a diligent search of available records and has not located any records responsive to your request."

(a). If you need an example of the aforementioned certification, please let me know.
