Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:
Any and all records, videos, text messages, emails, written notes, or other documents related to the arrest, detention, solitary confinement and/or death of Layleen Cubilette-Polanco, a transgender woman who was arrested in New York in April 2019 and sent to New York's Rikers Island jail, where she died in June of this year.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
