The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

I am writing to appeal the response to my FOIL request dated June 2, 2022. In your response dated June 23, 2022, you stated that there were no documents responsive to my request and that none of the individuals listed were employees of Capital Region BOCES.

However, it appears that you have misinterpreted my request. My FOIL request specifically requested any and all communications between any and all employees, contractors, consultants, advisors, board members, administrators or staff of the District and the individuals listed, and between any and all employees, contractors, consultants, advisors, board members, administrators or staff of the District from 1/1/2019 to the date this request is completed.

I did not ask whether the individuals listed were employees of Capital Region BOCES, and it is clear from my request that they are not. Rather, my request sought communications involving these individuals and any Capital Region BOCES employees, contractors, consultants, advisors, board members, administrators or staff.

Furthermore, I must note that your initial response to my request, dated June 6, 2022, did not provide a proper response within the timeframe required by law. While you indicated that you would research my request and reply by June 23, 2022, you did not provide a substantive response addressing my specific request.

Given these concerns, I respectfully request that you review my request and provide a substantive response within the timeframe required by law. If you have any questions or concerns regarding my request, please do not hesitate to contact me.
