Any and all emails, paper communications, phone logs, text messages, receipts, invoices, memorandum, meeting notes from/to/cc anyone with the following certifications/licenses/titles:
- School Building Leader
- School Administrator / Supervisor
- School District Leader
- School District Business Leader
- School Board Member
which contain the statement "new normal".
Be sure to include contents of attachments to emails.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

You requested the following records:

The phrase "new normal" appeared close to 20,000 times in a search of
district emails. This is a phrase that is used abundantly in many contexts,
and does not reasonably describe a record. As per the FOIL regulations,
district emails that constitute inter-agency or intra-agency communications
are not subject to FOIL, absent those communications containing statistical
or factual tabulations, or data; instructions that affect the public; final
agency policy or determinations; or external audits. Although we have not
reviewed the content of all of these emails, finding that your request does
not reasonably describe the records, we believe that the preponderance of
the emails are not subject to release based on the
inter-agency/intra-agency exceptions.
As per my email response to you for your FOIL #129543-12891657, we wish to
share the documents you seek, but find that we have been struggling to
sufficiently narrow down the requests to a specific record or document. I
think that a call would be a more productive process. Might I suggest some
time either Tuesday or Thursday morning of this week?
