Pursuant to the New Mexico Inspection of Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
I am writing to request any and all files in connection with animal or livestock mutilations from 1967 through 2022. I believe these records are under the purview of the New Mexico Livestock Board.
As a citizen of the United States, I am entitled to access public records under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. § 552. I request that you provide me with copies of all records, documents, notes, reports, and any other material related to animal or livestock mutilations that have been investigated by the New Mexico Livestock Board from January 1, 1967, to December 31, 2022.
Please provide me with any available information regarding the following:
The number of reported animal or livestock mutilations in New Mexico from 1967 to 2022.
The locations of the reported animal or livestock mutilations.
The number of investigations launched into these incidents.
The results of the investigations, including any reports, conclusions, or findings.
If there are any fees associated with fulfilling this request, please inform me in advance. I would appreciate a response to this request within 20 business days, as required by FOIA.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 15 business days, as the statute requires.

The bodycam footage for the report exceeds 2 GBs. Please advise if you wish to receive these large files by one of the following methods:
* We can prepare multiple CDs and deliver in one package by USPS mail or pickup at the front desk for a $5 fee.
* We can prepare a USB external drive and deliver by USPS mail or pickup at the front desk for a $10 fee.
* You can arrange for a time to bring your own new/unopened USB external drive and we will copy all of the data to that at no charge.
We do anticipate more bodycam video that may be responsive to your request. With that in mind we can wait until the entirety of the bodycam video is collected and then provide it in one lump sum. Please indicate if you would like us to do that or if you would prefer the video be made available as it is processed.
We require more time to search for any additional responsive records, until May 18, 2023.

Regarding the bodycam video you had discussed in your email today we can accommodate whichever format you like however payment must be made via check sent to the address in my signature. Just let me know when you send payment so that I can be looking for it.
