Pursuant to the New Mexico Inspection of Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

The following materials related to this jurisdiction’s participation in 2019 Smart Cities Council Readiness Challenge:

- The Agreement
• Any and all agreements - including associated amendments, exhibits, and attachments - between this jurisdiction (as well as any of its 2019 Smart Cities Council Readiness Challenge partners) and the Smart Cities Council (as well as any associated organizations or partners).

- The Application for the Award
• All materials provided to the Smart Cities Council and any other associated agents as part of the submission to the Challenge and the consideration process.
• All meeting notes and minutes for any organizing committee tasked with crafting and submitting the application for the grant
• All letters, emails, or other communications received from the Smart Cities Council or any representative thereof for the period between the date this jurisdiction initially registered for consideration for the Challenge and the date on which the Challenge grant was awarded.

If another office would be a more appropriate destination for this request, we would be happy to forward this request according to your direction.

If additional agencies or jurisdictions would also have responsive or associated materials, provision of the names of those entities would also be appreciated.

Please provide materials on a rolling basis, if possible, beginning with any materials related to the application from this jurisdiction to its partners and the Smart Cities Council.

Please provide clarification on the following: “Please provide materials on a rolling basis, if possible, beginning with any materials related to the application from this jurisdiction to its partners and the Smart Cities Council.”

Please be advised that under NMSA 1978 14-2-8D of New Mexico’s Inspection of Public Records Act (IPRA), the university may take up to fifteen (15) days from the date of receipt of your letter to respond to your request. Pursuant to NMSA 1978 Section 14-2-10, if a written request is excessively burdensome or broad, an additional reasonable period of time shall be allowed to comply with the request.

We will advise you no later than Friday, July 5, 2019 whether additional time is needed, and if so, the estimated timeframe for a complete response. If advance payment of copies will be required, we will also advise of the estimated costs for copies of the records you have requested.
