From: Curtis Waltman

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to Open Public Records Act ("OPRA"), I hereby request the following records:

The date range on all portions of this request is from 10/1/15 to the date this request is processed.

Threat assessments, field reports, intelligence updates, and any other reports which make mention of the Neo-Nazi group Atomwaffen Division.

I also request an email search using the following keywords:
-Atomwaffen Division
-Samuel Woodward
-Brandon Russell
-John Cameron Denton
-Michael Lloyd Hubsky
-Sean Michael Fernandez

The group's prominent leaders include Brandon Russell of Florida, John Cameron Denton of Montgomery, Texas, Michael Lloyd Hubsky of Nevada, Kaleb Cole of Washington, and Sean Michael Fernandez of Texas. Atomwaffen Division has been implicated in five killings within the last year and a half, including the recent murder of Blaze Bernstein by Atomwaffen Division member Samuel Woodward. The public has a right to know about this public safety threat.

As a member of the media I request a fee waiver. My work appears regularly on MuckRock.com and I will link my author's page here as well: https://www.muckrock.com/news/author/chwaltman/. I have freelanced several pieces to Motherboard a subsidiary of VICE Media which can be found at the following link: https://motherboard.vice.com/en_us/contributor/curtis-waltman, and I have also written for DeSmogBlog.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 7 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Curtis Waltman
