Pursuant to the New Hampshire Right to Know Law, I hereby request the following records:
All records, documents and correspondence regarding, related to, or mentioning New Hampshire-based shortages, or anticipated shortages, of clinical (health care) PPE (personal protective equipment) for the inclusive period between March 1, 2020, and September 17, 2020. Records kept in a digital or electronic form are also records, would be responsive to this request, and should be provided.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request be filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter.
I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

Good afternoon Melanie. I am writing in response to your RSA 91-A Right to Know request seeking records relative to New Hampshire related shortages or anticipated shortages of PPE. Specifically, I am writing to inform you that this Department does not have any records that are responsive to your request.
In New Hampshire, the acquisition and distribution of PPE has been the responsibility of the Emergency Services Unit and the Department of Administrative Services. These entities have been successful in acquiring necessary PPE and ensuring that those facilities that need PPE get them. Since the earliest days of the pandemic there has been a hotline operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week that facilities can call if they need PPE. For this reason, to the extent that facilities have had a need for PPE they would have called the hotline as opposed to putting their needs for PPE in writing. For this reason, your request is denied due to the fact that NH DHHS has no responsive records to provide.
