Pursuant to the Nevada Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records, which are required by NRS 504.360:
- All reports of the number of birds released and the number of birds killed on private or commercial shooting preserves in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 to date, including name, location, type of preserve (public or private), and type of birds involved;
- Records confirming verification of the aforementioned reports.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes. This request falls within the purpose of the Nevada Public Records Act, whose purpose is to "further the democratic ideal of an accountable government by ensuring that public records are broadly accessible" (NPRA Overview, Bhalla, 2018).
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I eagerly await your reply.
