Good morning, William,
I have been provided your request for information. But I do have one question when you state Victims Witness Assistance, I believe you are referring to the Victims of Crime Compensation Program<https://voc.nv.gov/VOC/VOC_Home/>, is that correct? Please let me know. Thank you.

William,
Below are the responses to your questions.
From January 1, 2020 – November 20, 2020, the Victims of Crime Compensation Program (VOCP) has received 2,771 applications.
Our database tracks claim approvals and denials once an application is processed. Claim requests are approved based on the eligibility criteria outlined pursuant to NRS 217.130-270.
Regarding claims processed between January 1, 2020 – November 20, 2020, there have been 1,621 approved claims, 315 denied claims, and there are 99 pending claims.
Federal funding for VOCP is supported by the Federal Crime Victims Fund. The Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) awards each state 60% of the total amount the state paid (from state funding sources) to victims in the prior fiscal year.
