Pursuant to the Nevada Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
Yearly unduplicated headcount data for all public higher education institutions in Nevada for all academic years from AY 2000-2001 to AY 2020-2021.
Yearly unduplicated full time equivalent data for all public higher education institutions in Nevada for all academic years from AY 2000-2001 to AY 2010-2011
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

Pursuant to NRS 239.0107, the Nevada System of Higher Education ("NSHE") provides the following responses to your July 20, 2021 public record request:
1) Yearly unduplicated headcount data for all public higher education institutions in Nevada for all academic years from AY 2000-2001 to AY 2020-2021.
NSHE does not track or publish an annual headcount figure, therefore, there are no existing records responsive to your request. The institution is not required to create a public record in response to a request for information. NAC 239.867; PERS v. Reno Newspapers, Inc. 129 Nev. 833, 840, 313 P.3d. 221 (2013). However, NSHE's Official Enrollment by Semester Reports are available at: https://ir.nevada.edu/page.php?p=enrollment
2) Yearly unduplicated full time equivalent data for all public higher education institutions in Nevada for all academic years from AY 2000-2001 to AY 2010-2011.

If the information I have provided you is insufficient, I would recommend either reaching out to the institutions individually, seeking such information on The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System's website (https://nces.ed.gov > ipeds) or contacting NSHE's Office of Academic and Student Affairs, to further discuss your request, and to what extent NSHE may provide the information taking into consideration, FERPA and other restrictions.
