Pursuant to the Nebraska Public Records Statutes (Neb. Rev. Stat. ยง 84-712), I hereby request the following records:
Any copies of textbooks designed by University of Nebraska-Omaha and its Center for Afghanistan Studies in the early 1980s under a USAID funded program. The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 4 business days, as the statute requires.

It is my understanding that there are approximately 80 textbooks that are responsive to your request. The University does not have electronic copies of the textbooks. The textbooks are available for review and examination at the Criss Library at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. If you would like copies of the textbooks, please let me know and I will provide a cost estimate to provide the copies. The cost estimate will be based on an hourly rate for the labor to make copies of the textbooks and will also include a $.25 per page charge. Thank you.
