Record of Jill Stein's Oct. 16, 2012 Arrest

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the New York State Freedom of Information Law (1977 N.Y. Laws ch. 933), I hereby request the following records:

Any and all records detailing the arrest and detention of former Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein on October 16, 2012 by Hofstra University and Nassau County Police. Records requested include police reports, arrest reports, witness statements, detention location, and/or narratives submitted by police officers involved with the reporters’ arrests.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
