Good morning,

This is in response to your numerous e-mails you have sent us. Our department has
Responded numerous times with the same answer. I am unsure why you have
Not gotten any of them but the first one is dated May 15, 2017 11:54 am.

"In all situations where an arrest and subsequent arraignment of a person or persons in Nantucket County requires a post-arraignment detention for future Court proceedings, the Nantucket Sheriff's Office arranges for transport of such person or persons off-Island and arranges for the pre-trial detention to take place at the Barnstable County Correctional Facility in Bourne, MA. Should the Court subsequently impose a term of Incarceration, the Nantucket defendant will serve the Sentence at BCCF as well. Accordingly, the Nantucket Sheriff's Office does not maintain any policies, procedures or training records regarding Nantucket Sheriff's Office cooperation the U.S. Office of Immigrations, Customs and Enforcement."

This is our response for all the e-mails you have sent us.

Thank you,

Brenda Garnett
