Good Morning,

I’m sorry to report your previous requests were not found in our system. The previous requests do not include a viable “To” addressee. Did you receive a notification from JustFOIA with confirmation? In any event, the Sheriff’s Department is a separate entity, which I cc’d on this email, not under Town of Nantucket. You may request information directly from the Sheriff’s Department..

Thank You,
Maureen Coleman

Good morning Sandra,

I appreciate your response, but my original request (titled "Subject: Massachusetts Public Records Law Request: Nantucket County Sheriff's Department Salary Data" & originally submitted on Feb. 11, 2021) is still not answered. My original request asked for the "Sheriff's department salary data from 2011-2021", not just the salary of the Sheriff. Again, to clarify, this means the annual salary information for every individual employed by the Nantucket Sheriff's Department (including yourself) from the time period starting in 2011 and ending in 2021.

Also, do you have a time frame for providing the initially requested information?

Thank you for your time,

Josh Coffin

To Whom It May Concern:

As a clarification to my Massachusetts Public Record Request (PRR) for "Nantucket County Sheriff's Department Salary Data from 2011-2021", and since the response was answered in a piece mail method, it is still not clear what years Sheriff Perelman has been employed by the NSD.

To Sandy:
I appreciate you citing https://malegislature.gov/Laws/GeneralLaws/PartI/TitleVI/Chapter37/Section17, but this does not tell anyone what years Sheriff Perelman have/has been employed by the NSD.

To Brenda:
I appreciate the Salaries you responded with, but it only indicates Sheriff Perelman have/has only been employed by the NSD during the 2021 year. If this is true, then what date during the 2021 calendar year was Sheriff Perelman hired?

As per this MA PRR, can I please get clarification of Sheriff Perelman's "duration of employment" with the NSD?
This MA PRR has failed to provide this information as this MA PRR was answered in a piece mail method without providing this information.
To reiterate & make it very clear, what years was Sheriff Perelman employed by the NSD?

Sincerely,
Josh Coffin

From: Town Administration

Good morning Josh,
(I thought that I had sent a response to this already, so I apologize if it didn’t get to you)

Sheriff Perelman is an elected official.
He was elected on 11/01/2010 and was sworn in to office on January 1, 2011.
He won his second 6 year term, so he has been in office for 10 years and 3 months
