Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

All documents and communications pertaining to the 368 male coronavirus patients at VA hospitals nationwide who had died or been discharged as of April 11. 97 of these patients were given hydroxychloroquine. any mention of the word hydroxychloroquine in email communications as well.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

The tests were authorized by the FDA and performed in all United States Veterans Health Administration medical centers.

Thank you for identifying the study you were referencing. In order to process your request, clarification is still needed however. As per my letter to you on May 1, 2020; please provide clarification on what records related to this study you are seeking so we may identify and locate the records (i.e. a copy of the report etc.).

I also noted, you are seeking: “any mention of the word hydroxychloroquine in email communications as well.” Per my May 1, 2020 letter; please clarify the extent of emails/communication you are seeking.
