Dear Mr. Mass:

This correspondence is in response to your Freedom of
Information Act (FOIA) request dated and received in the Office of the
Pardon Attorney (OPA) today. Pursuant to the Freedom of Information
Act, 5 U.S.C. § 552 et seq., you requested the following:

1. All communications between the Office of the Pardon Attorney
and the White House since February 22, 2017.
2. Agency records related to pardon or commutation requests
transmitted to the White House since February 22, 2017.
3. All records received from the White House regarding
commutations and pardons since February 22, 2017.
4. A list of all commutations or pardons granted by President
Donald J. Trump..

We do not have any records that meet the criteria of your above
referenced requests. As a result, we have no documents to produce,
there has been no fee assessed for the search of our records, and this
will be our final correspondence in relation to your request. With
respect to question number four above, please be aware that if and when
the President grants or denies a petitioners request for a pardon or
commutation, that information will be almost immediately available on
our website after Presidential action occurs. Clemency grants are

exist.

Information Act (FOIA) request dated and received in the Office of the
Pardon Attorney (OPA) on March 15, 2017 and remanded back to us for an
additional search by the Department's Office of Information Policy
(OIP) on August 24, 2017. Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act,
5 U.S.C. § 552 et seq., you requested all communications between the
Office of the Pardon Attorney and the White House since February 22,
2017; agency records related to pardon or commutation requests
transmitted to the White House since February 22, 2017; all records
received from the White House regarding commutations and pardons since
February 22, 2017; and a list of all commutations or pardons granted by
President Donald J. Trump.

In response to your request, we conducted yet another search across the
official files of this office for any and all correspondence between
OPA and the White House between February 22, 2017 and March 15, 2017
and our search produced no results. As a result, we have no records to
produce, there has been no fee assessed for the search of our records,
and this will be our final correspondence in relation to your remanded
request.
