Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
A report submitted to the Attorney General by Special Counsel Robert Mueller III entitled "Report on the Investigation into Russian Interference in the 2016 Presidential Election." This report is described in the Attorney General's public letter, dated March 24, 2019, to the chairmen and ranking members of the House and Senate judiciary committees.
The requester is a freelance journalist. The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes. The information I obtain through this request will be used in the preparation of a news article relating to a topic of public concern. Accordingly, I request that all fees for locating and copying the records be waived.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not. If portions of the requested records are closed, please segregate the closed portions and provide me with the rest of the records.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter.
I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.
