Pursuant to the Tennessee Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

1. A copy of any current list of books, printed materials, or other forms of media not permitted in facilities operated by or under the supervision of the Department of Corrections.

2. A copy of any policies concerning which books, printed materials, or other forms of media may or may not be permitted in (or received by persons confined within) facilities operated by or under the supervision of the Department of Corrections.

3. A copy of any notices that a form of media has been banned or rejected, any appeals from any such determinations, and any determinations on appeals concerning such decisions. This request is limited to bans or rejections occurring on or after June 1, 2021.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
