This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:

Records relating to the British Royal Navy's Trident II D5 missile test off the coast of Florida in June 2016. Specifically any relating to the "failure" of the test and the proceedings of the test itself. This request includes any mention of the June 2016 test by the Royal Navy in emails to and from the department, memos, internal emails, telegrams, notices or data relating to it.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

After inquiring into DOE's jurisdiction over your request, I have been advised that DOE has no jurisdiction. This request should be submitted to the Air Force, as the tests it refers to took place at the Air Force Eastern Test Range (ETR) in Florida. You may find information on submitting a FOIA request to the Air Force at its FOIA website: http://www.foia.af.mil/

As the requested information is not within DOE's jurisdiction, please advise if you would agree to withdraw this FOIA request. You may confirm your agreement to withdraw the above-referenced FOIA request by replying to this email.
