Request for communications and documents

Dear Representative Thomas Weatherston,
Pursuant to the Wisconsin Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

All electronic communication between you and your staff and representatives of We Energies, WEC Energy Group, Wisconsin Utilities Association, Madison Gas & Electric, WPPI Energy. The search for records should include emails along with attachments (both sent and received). The domains for the entities are "we-energies.com"; "wecenergygroup.com"; "wisconsinutilities.com"; "mge.com"; "wppienergy.org". The timeframe of this search is limited to December 1, 2017, through the processing date of the request.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not. However, I am requesting a fee waiver. The organization I work for, the Energy and Policy Institute, is a clearinghouse of information and can qualify as a representative of the news media. There are several examples of public record requests that have been provided to my organization and that were then published on our website to inform journalists publishing articles. Also, I have accounts with news outlets including Huffington Post and Republic Report.
