This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
Copies of all information/records on H.R. "Bum" Bright, a Dallas businessman who passed away in 2004. Here is a link to his obituary in the Los Angeles Times, http://articles.latimes.com/2004/dec/14/local/me-passings14
I am particularly interested in getting copies of any material pertaining to an advertisement that Bright placed in the Nov. 22, 1963 edition of The Dallas Morning News, the day President Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas. I request that the FBI search its files to see if Bright's name was ever mentioned during the investigation of the assassination or if Bright himself was ever investigated by the FBI for any role he might have had in Kennedy's death.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
