Thank you for your May 3, 2019 response to our request #71950.
There appears to be some confusion as your response states the Counsel does not keep CPRA requests for the other County departments. We are asking for *messages* between County employees and certain individuals. Regardless, your point that the Counsel does not manage other departments' messages is taken.
We will followup with other departments separately.
As it pertains to the Counsel, we'll amend our request as follows:
1. The County Counsel is the only department addressed
2. The opening para is replaced with:
"Electronic copies, via email, of all records prepared, owned, used, or retained by each agency
(including all appendices, attachments, inline images, exhibits, or shared files referenced in or by
the below requested records, and including all public records that pursuant to City of San Jose v.
Superior Court (2017) 2 Cal.5th 608 may exist on personal accounts or devices) of all email, calendar
invites sent, written, or received between January 1, 2017 and 2019-04-18(inclusive), to or from (1) any
employee, officer, or supervisor of the County and (2) any of the following: ... "
The search for email and calendar invites of the County Counsel should be a process that can be done quite efficiently through your (for example) Microsoft Exchange server.

This will be our last non-judicial attempt to get a complete response from the County Counsel on this PRA request.
The number of employees that the County Counsel has should have no bearing on your ability to perform a search of email to or from certain persons. It is apparent from the metadata of the Counsel's emails we have received that your office uses either an on-premise or cloud-based Microsoft Exchange/Office email server/service, which has a centralized location from which emails may be searched and retrieved, for example, by your IT department. The effort to perform this initial search should not scale by the number of employee's mailboxes that need to be searched.
Therefore, we will try once again with the opening para of the request amended to only need search of your official servers:

What you call the "boilerplate instructions" (the Important Notes section) cannot /all/ be ignored merely due to an error in one of them, D1.
Regardless, I have attached a corrected request to replace the June 14 and June 4 requests.
The only difference between the attached PDF and the June 14 one is a correction in D1, which omits the number of requests and merely says "...each of the requests..."
For your convenience, I've copied the "Important Notes" (with D1 corrected) below as well. Wherever these notes refer to "requests" or "request(s) below," they are referring to the requests in the attached PDF.
A1. Please waive fees if possible. This request is non-commercial. The requests
are made to better understand the operation of the government and we intend to share
responsive records widely and publicly on MuckRock.com
