Pursuant to Hawaii's Uniform Information Practices Code, I hereby request the following records:
A log of public records requests submitted to the Governor's office that lists the date of request, the requester's name, the requester's organizational affiliation, a description of the request and the date the request was filled. Ideally I would like this information for the period from 2004 to the present.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, and is made in the process of academic research and not for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Aloha Mr. Peterson,
Attached you will find the Notice to Requester and records regarding
your request for a list of all UIPA requests filed with the Office of
the Governor. Our records do not contain all the information you
requested:
1. You asked for records going back to 2004; our available records go
back only to 2012. If you would like to have a search of the State
Archives to see if prior Administrations kept records before 2012 you
can file a UIPA request with the Department of Accounting and General
Services, State Archives division.
2. You also asked for the nature of the information requested by each
requester; prior to 2015 the subject matter of the request was not
recorded.
3. You asked for the date the information request was "filled." A
variety of outcomes are possible with each request. The attached Excel
spreadsheet shows the disposition of each request.

We located additional UIPA requests that were not in the previous
spreadsheet sent to you: those for the last 5 months of the previous
Governor's administration, July 2014 through November 2014. The
attached spreadsheet has the new data added to what was already sent to
you, so is a complete record of all the information we are able to
find.
