At the direction of the Legal Services Department of the Madison Metropolitan School District as communicated to me on April 25, 2019, this request under the Wisconsin Public Records Law is being sent to "publicrecords@madison.k12.wi.us" instead of the email address for the district official who serves as Legal Custodian of Records under the district's Policies and Procedures 2615 established by the Board of Education.
Pursuant to the Wisconsin Public Records Law and the Madison Metropolitan School District's Policies and Procedures 2615, I hereby request the following records:
1. All records referred to (whether formally or colloquially) as “weekly update” document(s) provided on behalf of the Madison Metropolitan School District to the Board of Education of the Madison Metropolitan School District, during the period from and including June 3, 2019 through and including June 9, 2019; and
2. All records provided on behalf of the Madison Metropolitan School District to any member(s) of the Board of Education of the Madison Metropolitan School District, during the period from and including June 3, 2019 through and including June 9, 2019, in response to inquiries or requests by member(s) of the Board of Education.
As a reminder, if the requested records include any links to external websites (i.e. "live" links), all such links should be retained and not disabled in the records provided to fulfill this request.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
As provided by the Public Records Law, your response is requested as soon as practicable and without delay. If you choose to deny this request, please provide a written explanation for the denial, including a reference to the specific statutory exemption(s) upon which you rely.
I agree to redaction from the requested records of any information that is prohibited from disclosure under the Public Records Law.
Please send the requested records in electronic form via email attachment. Although the district may have my personal email address in its contact database, my personal email address is not intended for use with this request. This records request is being submitted via MuckRock, and the requested records should be provided to MuckRock, and not my personal email address.
