All records possessed by the Mayor's Office that meet the following conditions:
1. Records of any emails, phone calls, and texts between the Mayor's Office—including the Mayor's Office of Special Enforcement—and the following organizations/individuals: ShareBetter, the Hotel Association of New York City, the New York City Hotel and Motel Trades Council, Metropolitan Public Strategies, Neal Kwatra, Lemire LLC, Elan Parra, Vijay Dandapani.
2. Copies of any and all contracts the city has with either Metropolitan Public Strategies or Lemire LLC; copies of any and all documents and emails/phone calls/texts involving both private investigators and suspected illegal short-term rental activity.
3. Dated from January 1, 2014 to the present.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
