This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby request the following records:
Copies of 2015 audits of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for the following federal awards programs:
1) Unemployment Insurance
2) WIA Adult Program
3) WIA Youth Activities
4) WIA Dislocated Worker Formula Grants
Summary reports of these audits are available through the Federal Audit Clearinghouse's Image Management System. I would like to clarify that I am requesting copies of the full audit reports.
I also ask that All fees be waived for this request as I am a journalist employed by the Lowell Sun and I intend to use the requested records to write articles in the public's interest and not for any commercial purposes.
I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 20 business days, as the statute requires.

This is in response to your Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request of June 15, 2016, in which you request a copy of the 2015 audit for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Attached is a copy of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for fiscal year ended June 30, 2015. The audit includes information on the Unemployment Insurance program and the Workforce Investment Act programs for adults, youth and dislocated workers and is being provided at no charge.
We believe that we have been responsive to your request. However, you may file an appeal of this decision with the Solicitor of Labor within 90 days from the date of this letter. The appeal must state, in writing, the grounds for the appeal, including any supporting statement or arguments. To facilitate processing, you may wish to fax your appeal to 202-693-5538. The appeal should include a copy of your initial request and a copy of this letter.
