Dear Records Request Officer:
Pursuant to the California Public Records Act (California Government Code ยงยง 6250), I hereby request the following records:
A list or dataset of all of the driving under the influence of marijuana charges in Los Angeles County that were taken to trial from January 1, 2013 until May 1, 2017 and the resulting outcome of the trial.
I would also like to note that I am not requesting paper records, but electronic information. I can accept this data in a variety of formats, such as CSV, TSV or in a database or statistical software program format. I also can accept the data on a CD, portable drive, or via ftp. I also can provide a link for a file upload.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request.
