Good Morning Mr. Welch,

Please recognize “hcc_recordsrequest” is an inbox dedicated to receiving and processing public information requests.

(We do not have anything to do with the Communications Department you keep addressing your follow-up emails to.)

You are emailing the right place – but we are not “Communications.”

As stated in our email to you dated July 17th; "Please be aware a ruling may be issued by the Texas Attorney General approximately 60 days after they receive the College's 15-Day Brief."

Our 15-Day Brief to the Attorney General was dated August 3rd. The Office of the Attorney General received it on August 6th.

60 calendar days after August 6th is Monday, October 5th. Allowing time for mailing – the end of that week is when we can expect a response.

We understand everyone would like a ruling issued sooner. However, it is out of our hands. We are all awaiting their response.

Sincerely,
