I received your Right-to-Know Law request on 10/22/18 and our response
would normally be due 10/29/18. However, given the nature and extent of
your request and the need for legal review, we will require a 30-day
extension, which extension is provided for under the RTKL, 65 P.S. Section
67.902, so that we will have our response to you no later than 11/28/18.

To Whom It May Concern:
I wanted to follow up on the following Pennsylvania Right to Know Act request, copied below, and originally submitted on Aug. 22, 2018. Please let me know when I can expect to receive a response.
Thanks for your help, and let me know if further clarification is needed.
From: Philadelphia Housing Authority
As noted in the email chain that you sent - the October request was
received as a new request, not a "modification" of the August request, and
that 2nd request was received by PHA on 10/22/18.
When additional items are requested under the RTKL, the date of the
request for the additional items controls, not the date of a previous
request -- even if the agency's response to the earlier request prompts
the requester to request more..
PHA responded to your 8/22/18 request on 8/24/18 (PHA RTKL2018#59).
An extension to the request received in October was taken (as shown in the
email chain) and PHA's response is due on 11/28/18 (PHA RTKL2018#72).
I hope that helps clarify the current status.

As shown in the emails below, PHA responded to you on October 24, 2018, 2
days after receiving the October 22, 2018 RTKL request (PHA RTKL 2018#72),
to indicate that it would be responding by November 28, 2018.
PHA answered your August 22, 2018 RTKL request (RTKL 2018#59) on August
24, 2018.
The October request is a separate request with a separate time frame, not
a "modification" since PHA had already responded to the August request --
and you will have a response from us to your October requestby November
28, 2018.
Thank you.
