Good afternoon, I am responding to provide an update to your records request to items listed below.

-Currently valid policies related to public housing access for previously incarcerated people
Our general policy is outlined on pages 16-21 in our Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy (ACOP) which is located on our website.

http://www.hacm.org/Home/ShowDocument?id=4947

The policy does not directly deal with incarceration but does mention: "History of criminal activity by any household member involving crimes of physical violence against persons or property and any other criminal activity including drug-related criminal activity that would adversely affect the health, safety, or well being of other tenants or staff or cause damage to the property."

-Currently valid policies related to the Authority's valid grounds for evicting tenants (i.e. drug activity)
As for Request #2 below, pages 71-74 of the ACOP show grounds for termination of assistance.

-Any responses (i.e. emails, press releases, letters) related to Secretary Shaun Donovan's letter dated June 17, 2011 related to providing housing access for previously incarcerated people

After research no responses to my knowledge from HACM have been located in response to Secretary Donovan's letter regarding housing for previously incarcerated persons.
