GenCyber Curriculum Requests-New Mexico Tech

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the New Mexico Inspection of Public Records Act, I hereby request the following documents:

I request any and all available materials related to the GenCyber initiative as widely reported below:

These documents should include but not be limited to:
-a copy of the curriculum, lesson plans, and any relevant educational materials distributed to the students who participate in any N.S.A. and N.S.F. sanctioned GenCyber program
-any program instructor/teacher training materials
-Copies of the contract between the university and the N.S.A./N.S.F.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 15 business days, as the statute requires.

Hi Arleen,

Thank you again for following up with me and providing me with a fee estimate. As a reporter working on a story about the GenCyber camps, my budget is pretty tight. Would sending the copies electronically rather than physically help cut down on costs? For reference, I have received comparable documents (university contracts with the NSF, camp agendas, and activity schedules) from other universities (specifically the University of Florida, and Virginia Tech) free of charge.
