Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

Incident reports, alerts, notifications, and any other materials containing the term “Gaggle” or related to Gaggle-generated alerts. Materials responsive to this request would be all records related to an alert from the Gaggle system, a platform used to monitor student activity online and on school-provided devices. Materials may have come directly from the Gaggle platform or from a school or a school representative.

If you have any questions about this request or are unsure of the platform or type of materials I am requesting, please contact me, and I would be happy to provide additional clarification.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

On 8/8/2022 the City of Round Rock received your request for public records.

The City of Round Rock strictly adheres to the provisions of the Texas Public Information Act, Texas Government Code Ch. 552 (formerly, Open Records Act), and the interpretative opinions of the Texas Attorney General and the courts.
